"Peru light of hope" has been created with the aim to set up an integral volunteering program in the rural communities concerned with children and youths, as we believe that they hold the future of our country in their hands. We are looking for volunteers to work in many areas, including: Education, ESL Teacher, Working with Mothers, Carpentry, Medicine or any other expertise (such as electrician, engineering, farming, documentaries, etc). Everyone who volunteers with us will be directly helping the poor communities in Huancayo, Chupaca and surrounding areas.
There is no minimum length of commitment, although we believe the longer you stay the bigger impact you will have. The fee includes($20): pickup and transport of the bus station Huancayo to the volunteer house, two map, a city tour to get to the principal services such as banks, supermarkets, restaurants, laundry, post office, shopping center, and a certification to volunteers who have volunteered a minimum of 3 weeks. The cost is $150 for each week.
