Tampa JCCs and Federation

The Tampa Jewish Community Centers and Federation was created to establish, coordinate, plan, support, and deliver social, educational, cultural, health and housing services to the local Jewish Community through its own efforts and those of its affiliated agencies and organizations.

One of the main goals of the Tampa Jewish Community Centers and Federation is to raise, collect and allocate funds from the community for the support of those services and to preserve a vibrant Jewish life in the United States, Israel and throughout the world.

The Tampa Jewish Community Centers and Federation is housed on a beautiful 21 acre campus which serves as a focus for the entire Jewish Community. The Tampa Jewish Community Centers and Federation operates four divisions as well as many committees, including the Women's Division, Community Relations, Allocations and the Young Adult Division.

The Tampa Jewish Community Centers was incorporated in 1960 and is a not for profit, 501©(3) membership agency which is open to the entire community. The JCC is supported through funds from the United Way of Hillsborough County, Tampa Jewish Federation, membership fees, program fees, contributions and fundraising activities. Our mission is to strengthen family life, promote the health, education and welfare of our membership and our community, and to ensure for ourselves and future generations, Jewish continuity and identification with Jewish values, culture and heritage.

In 1995, the JCCs and the Tampa Federation merged into one operating entity to better coordinate activities in the community.
