Women Helping Battered Women (WHBW) is a community-based domestic violence program that was formed in 1974. In addition to providing emergency shelter and housing advocacy, WHBW offers 24-hour hotline counseling services, legal advocacy, children's programs and playgroups, support groups and many educational outreach programs. The mission of WHBW is to support, identify options, and advocate for those who have experienced domestic violence and to serve as a catalyst for social change.
WHBW values diversity and works to ensure our services are equally accessible without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, age, gender, disability or sexual preference.
