Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy

The mission of the Center for Women in Politics & Public Policy is to promote women's leadership in politics and policymaking by providing graduate education, conducting research that makes a difference in women's lives, and serving as a resource for women from diverse communities across Massachusetts, New England, and the nation. We are affiliated with the McCormack Graduate School of Policy Studies at UMass Boston and each year we enroll twenty five women in our one-year graduate certificate program. We also hold public forums on a wide range of issues of concern to women and offer substantive internship opportunities.
