Phenomenal I Am, Inc.

Phenomenal I Am, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, supported by the City of New Haven, Board of Education and New Haven Family Alliance to help achieve our mission to address the emotional, social needs and overall student engagement of our "at-risk" female adolescents through empowerment enrichment workshops and matching of an adult female mentor. Our mission is to help young women embrace their self-worth by acknowledging how phenomenal they are.

Phenomenal I Am, Inc. program provides year-round mentoring, empowerment enrichment workshops and community service. Through facilitating youth led empowerment enrichment workshops to explore and address common issues among our next female generation such as: respect for self and others, effective communication, higher aspirations, being a girl, building healthy relationships, body-image, self-esteem, self-confidence and leadership skills to name a few, reinforces the message that our young women are phenomenal in their own rights.

Phenomenal I Am, Inc. goals and objectives is to change our youth’s outlook about themselves and about life in general. A new and positive attitude of self will ultimately change their behavior. The name Phenomenal I Am is empowering in itself and is ready to meet the needs of our youth to help them identify their full potential.
