Amnesty International Australia - NSW Branch (AIA-NSW) aims to harness the skills, energy and passion of thousands of people in our region to work together in defending and protecting human rights.

There are action groups who meet regularly, organise events and campaign on human rights in their local areas and university campuses. There are also issue-based networks which campaign on specific human rights issues such as women's rights and refugees and asylum seekers. These activists are supported by a committed group of volunteers and interns within our Action Centre who play a vital role in promoting human rights throughout NSW.
