Growth and Development Services (GDS) was founded in 1996, by Dr. Gary Altheim, a clinical psychologist. GDS is a community based not for organization located in Upper Manhattan, Washington Heights, New York. GDS was created to is help to empower youth, families and the community to Reach its Potential.

GDS' Youth and Family Services (YFS) works with teens and families that are challeged by educational, emotional, behavioral and social issues. GDS Psychologist, Social Workers, and Casemangers work collaborately with other agencies to help individuals and families to GDS has created an innovative therapeutic and recreational model The Reach Your Potetial Model, This comprehesvive approach provides individuals wtih the tools to cope with life's challenges and helps individuals trasform thier lives.
