You Are Home is a non-profit organization, an open-source network of people and ideas, an itinerant educational centre with no roots, which promotes sustainability, alternative living systems and biodiversity in remote villages or in urban areas of the earth. We offer free courses, practical workshops and online material in order to spread knowledge, empower self-realization, resilience and indepencency. As a non-profit, independent organization we do not rely on government fundings, but in order to mantain the integrity of our vision we rely on the combined spirit of individuals and on the sinergy of people connecting together.We use the donations received to offer free courses in poor areas of the world, by activating a big network of volunteers. Our volunteers willshare their skills and learn more about herbal medicine, indigenous culture, sustainability and ecology. They will also live the farming experience in selected permaculture farms and forests in wonderful spots around the world. We are currently co-operating with several reliable organizations and individuals in Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe. We offer free accomodation and when possible three free meals per day. We only ask for a small fee to cover the expenses while assisting the volunteers through the entire process.
