Description

The Council's mission is to synthesize and promote cutting-edge research and analysis of issues of importance to women and girls, to foster collaboration and cooperative exchange across different cultures, geographic regions, areas of expertise and action, and finally to amplify the voices of women and girls, influencing public discourse and impacting policy and programming.
NCRW is a working alliance of centers and individuals actively involved in research, policy analysis, advocacy, and innovative programming on behalf of women and girls. Through its member centers, affiliates, events and publications, the Council links a community of scholars, practitioners, researchers, advocates, policymakers, and national and international organizations in order to influence opinion, policy and action. The Council's constituencies include the educational community, government, media, funders, business, public officials, community-based organizations and the general public.
