We are creating a collaborative production model for communities to work across divides and create new shared value. We believe that when people motivated by equity and sustainability have meaningful and concrete opportunities to participate in collaboration, we will align our energy and resources to produce and share value with each other, our communities, and the environment.

To pilot the model, we are usConverging communities across the United states to identify opportunities for concrete value sharing.

The us% model starts with a contest: businesses are invited to participate for massive innovation in their entire value chain, an opportunity to enter a new market, and a revenue share.

The community will submit ideas for a prize that includes cash, scholarships, and shared revenue.

Products and services in the following categories will be made in collaboration:

From the 28th to the 30th of September, the winners will attend usConvergence in San Francisco, where leaders and innovators across sectors will prototype collaborative ventures among businesses, nonprofits, governments, and individuals to make the products and services from the usContest in collaboration.

us% is recruiting and training usProducers, who will assemble usProduction teams and use Teambox.com to continue the collaborative work in an open platform online, bringing prototypes to market for a revenue share. Work needed for the usProduction is distributed online; giving everyone an opportunity to participate!

Co-branded us% products and services are sold to be shared, and the revenues are distributed 30% for community, 30% for environment, and 30% for profit. 10% is for us%. With our share we make a living; and we empower emerging leaders to be usProducers in our communities.
