Description

The Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery together form the national museum of Asian art. The Freer Gallery houses Charles Lang Freer's select collection of American art of the Aesthetic Movement, and together the museums have one of the greatest collections of Asian art. Through our permanent galleries, a program of highly acclaimed loan exhibitions, education and public programming, conservation, scientific and scholarly research, and more, we help visitors and scholars to understand and experience Asian art and culture.
