Partners for Development

Partners For Development is an American, non-profit organization working to improve the public health, food security, and economic well being of communities in Africa and Asia. Currently, PFD has programs in Benin, Cambodia and Nigeria, as well as recent programs successfully concluded in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Tanzania. PFD's mission is to work with under-served, vulnerable communities - often in conflict locations - to develop local skills and to improve standards of living. In doing so, PFD works to ensure that local partners are fully engaged in the design, implementation, and assessment of programs to the greatest degree possible. The basic criterion for assistance is need, without regard to race, religion or ethnicity.
