FSW is one of the oldest and most comprehensive private, non-profit human service agencies in Connecticut. Annually, we serve thousands of individuals and families predominantly in the Greater Bridgeport region with some services offered throughout Connecticut. As an industry leader, FSW employs a holistic, integrative service delivery model to help low income families become economically self sufficient. Strong individuals create strong families. FSW is a member of the national Alliance for Children and Families and the Connecticut Council of Family Services Agencies, and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children, Inc. FSW is also certified by the State of Connecticut as a licensed mental health clinic for both adults and children.
