Description

ALANY, BOOM "Bronx One on One" mentoring program. Boom is a well established mentoring program in the Bronx. We have a new C5 Thrive program within our organization for children with incarcerated parents. The program follows the principles of positive youth development and is designed to provide children with community base mentoring relationships, create strong bonds with reliable adult figure while building their confidence, character, essential competencies, healthy connection and desire to contribute to their community. I would like to meet with community board members to explain the need for this program in each board member area; because our One on One mentoring program has had great result in our community we have new funds to mentor the children of incarcerated parents. Please help us reach out to these population, if you have any events or meeting that we can come and speak about our new program, please invited us we would love to come.
