About Us

Frontiers for Peace and Development in Africa is a Uganda based civil society organization working throughout Africa to strengthen national capacities at all levels for Peace and Development.FPDAs Primary aim is to integrate conflict sensitive mechanisms at all sectors through research, dialogue and institutional development to ensure a peaceful and Just Society. FPDA ensures service delivery from a peace perspective. FPDA focuses on conflict management, conflict analysis, conflict prevention and Peace Building. It also focuses on the inclusiveness of gender perspectives at all levels.

To promote a peaceful and just society at all sectors for development

Mission

To build and strengthen sustainable peace at individual, family, institutional and community initiatives for development through partnerships at all levels in Africa

Goal

To promote conflict sensitive mechanisms at all sectors through research, dialogue and institutional development

Objectives

  • To strengthen National Capacities at all levels for Peace and Development
  • To engage in Peace Building activities and ensure the application of gender relations in Peace Building Processes,
  • To tackle all thematic and pertinent sectors to enhance Peace and Development
  • To conduct quality research and management consultancy services
  • To build FPDAs institutional/ organizational capacity to make it a viable institution to execute its objectives
