What is TeatroStageFest? In 2007, the Latino International Theater Festival of New York, Inc. (LITF/NY) began producing TeatroStageFest, an annual high profile artistic, educational and cultural celebration that showcases New York Latino artists side-by-side with groundbreaking international stage productions from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain. LITF/NY, a 501 (c ) (3) not-for-profit organization which also leads year-round programs: co-presentations, internships, master classes, workshops, readings and advocacy initiatives. Under Susana Tubert's leadership, TeatroStageFest 2007-2012 has brought together: 678 local and international artists and 174 theater, dance, music, family shows, circus theater and comedy performances, as well as panels, workshops, staged readings and conferences citywide.
