Description

Safe and rewarding volunteer opportunities at affordable rates

Love Volunteers is a not-for-profit organisation that provides fun, rewarding, safe and affordable volunteering opportunities in developing countries around the world. Whether you're planning a week helping a local community as you travel around a country, want to spend six months learning the local language or are putting your gap year to good use, Love Volunteers has a program that will give you the best possible experience.

All of Love Volunteers partner organisations have been fully vetted to ensure that, not only does a genuine need for assistance exist, but that the environments that we place our volunteers are safe and of a high quality. As a volunteer you are not only giving your time to help those in developing countries but you are also giving your trust that you will be involved with the program and activities you signed up for. We know this is important and you can rest assured we make a continuous effort to ensure that out partner organisations live up to their commitments.

In addition the safety of our volunteers is our number one priority. Immersing yourself in new cultures and surroundings is part of the excitement and wonder of traveling. However, as with any travel to developing countries, there is always a chance that things might not go 100% according to plan. We work closely with our partner organisations to understand the local security and safety arrangements and only provide programs where we have carried out a thorough safety assessment. In addition to this we will ensure that all safety and security considerations are made clear to you in your starter/welcome pack. We will also appoint a Love Volunteers staff member to be your point of contact throughout the duration of your placement, so if at anytime you need further assistance, it is available to you.

Whether you have a passion for teaching, construction, medical work, helping children or the elderly, helping people living with HIV/AIDS, we have a volunteer work abroad program that will suit you - and probably one in each continent.
