Founded in 1973 and located in New York City, Congregation Beit Simchat Torah (CBST) is the worlds largest synagogue serving gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Jews, their families and friends. With over 800 members, CBST maintains a broad range of ritual observances, is committed to education programs and social action, and welcomes and supports families in all their varied forms.
