Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS)

Nonprofit or community organization

Last modified: December 5, 2010, 10:31 PM

Description

The Wildlife Conservation Society is a global leader in saving wildlife, with research projects in 52 countries. Since 1895 WCS has inspired people to care about our natural heritage. Today, more than 100 years later, WCS achieves its goal through the nations largest system of urban zoos--the Bronx Zoo, New York's Aquarium, the Central Park, Prospect Park, and Queens Wildlife Centers--and its pioneering environmental education programs used throughout the United States. WCS works to make future generations inheritors, not just survivors.

Your camera traps was able to document a sizable population of snow leopards in Afghanistan. What about the snow leopards' prey, ibex and Marco Polo sheep. Were any makhors found? Are you laying camera traps for potential Caspian tiger sightings? Alleged sightings have been made of them in Afghanistan. But I do not know where?
