Development Gateway International (DeGAIN), an equal opportunity registered youth focused non-governmental organization in Ghana with remarkable experience in youth and community development. It was established in 2006 but legally registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Ghana in 2008. The organization is registered by the Registrar General's Department with registration number G-25,285 and the Department of Social Welfare as a Non Profit Organization. The organization is located in Accra but has projects across the length and breadth of Ghana in the areas of youth skill training (entrepreneurial skills development, skills for living etc.), water and sanitation, governance, health, education and livelihoods.
DeGAIN envisions a world of opportunities for the youth to actualize the developmental potential of communities and the leadership potentials them.
The focus of the organization is to drive and sustain community development and build the capacity of the youth for sustained growth.
Our mission stems from our motto, actualizing potential through skills development. To achieve this, DeGAIN provide quality skill training and service through experiential learning, participatory capacity building, awareness creation and training, research and monitoring and evaluation.
