Services for the UnderServed (SUS) is a non-profit organization that provides housing, services and supports for individuals with special needs to live with dignity in the community, direct their own lives and attain personal fulfillment.
Founded in 1978, SUS has gained a reputation for helping individuals and families faced with a wide range of challenges--including poverty, homelessness, mental illness, addiction, developmental disability, physical disability and AIDS. Services are tailored to meet the needs, goals and preferences of the people and communities we serve.

Services for the UnderServed (SUS) is a social service agency devoted to providing housing and support services to over 3500 New Yorkers with diverse needs and multiple challenges: children and adults with developmental disabilities, individuals faced with managing mental illness (most of whom were homeless and/or are dealing with substance abuse issues), military veterans, persons living with HIV/AIDS, and persons subsisting on the margins of society. |
