Annunciation Mission

  • About Us

Annunciation Mission is a non-profit organization whose purpose is furthering social justice, civic engagement, and capacity building in NOLA neighborhoods by facilitating creative and innovative partnerships between volunteers and local organizations.

Over the past six years, the Mission has hosted over 14,000 visiting volunteers from throughout the U.S. and around the world. These volunteers have been active participants in the recovery led by New Orleans citizens and their neighborhood and civic organizations. We are currently embarking upon an organizational transformation which is broadening the focus of our work beyond housing restoration to other neighborhood projects and priorities.
