The Jewish Association Serving the Aging (JASA), founded in 1968 by the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies, provides a full range of programs and services for the elderly and their families--from the most able and independent to the most frail and vulnerable, to enable the elderly to live independent lives in their own homes and communities. Services are provided throughout NYC and in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Last year, JASA touched the lives of over 54,000 elderly New Yorkers and their families with a wide range of individual and group services including advocacy, case management, legal services, meals on wheels, respite care and senior center services.
