Haiti Circle of Friends is an alternative, sustainable, and community based model for improved care of neglected orphans in Haiti. We create small family home environments, train Haitian staff in child care and development, and we are a volunteer based organization that brings hope, love, respect and dignity into the lives of young children while empowering the people who take care of them. Our social mission, "One Child, One Community, One Family," is to sustain this successful model of improved child care and development by providing housing, medical, educational, nutritional, and emotional support through our cadre of generous volunteers. We have private and clean housing for our volunteers and welcome all people who can share their skills to help improve our homes, spend quality time with children, as well as train, guide and empower the staff to provide appropriate care.
