YAY is a peer mentoring program which matches "at risk" or newcomer youth aged 6 to 15 with youth volunteers aged 16 to 29. These youth are referred to us by schools, social workers, community organizations and physicians. YAY then finds these youth mentors who will plan fun-filled activities of a social/recreational nature that they will do on a weekly basis. Since 1976, YAY has helped over 20,000 youth stay in school and out of trouble.
