True Nature Farm is a not-for-profit Permaculture organic farm & wilderness survival school, dedicated to cultivating sustainable human & natural environments through nature education, permaculture design, traditional living skills & fostering a learning community.
Our Mission is to pioneer and demonstrate a fully-sustainable living environment, using appropriate technologies both traditional and modern, and to share our learning with others for the benefit of the present & future generations.
The specific objectives and purposes of True Nature are:
(a) To demonstrate a fully sustainable Permaculture farm in collaboration with the local & broader community and to conduct research and development of appropriate technologies and viable farming practices;
(b) To conduct Courses, Workshops, Apprenticeships and Internships designed to educate the local community and the general public about sustainable living practices (such as Natural Farming, Permaculture Design, Natural Building, Renewable Energy and other sustainable living practices);
(c ) To conduct Courses & Workshops on Nature Awareness & Wilderness Living Skills designed to educate the local community and the general public about Land Stewardship, Wilderness Self-Reliance & Nature-Literacy;
(d) To create a learning environment of Personal Sustainability, self growth, inner-resilience & peaceful interpersonal skills and to foster a healthy, diverse community.
