About Us
The Latino STEM Alliance (LSA) is a 501c3 certified non‐profit that aims to create a pathway for urban youth to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). We do this connecting successful community development programs with STEM mentors and resources from local technology companies, colleges, and universities.
LSA strives to become the catalyst for a transformation that will enable the United States to overcome the shortage of STEM professionals that threatens our national security and global innovative leadership. In doing so, we will enable its own economic prosperity. We contribute by leveraging our understanding of the Latino culture and our own experiences to inspire youth to believe in themselves, provide the mentorship and support they need to get engaged in STEM related activities, and by creating a platform for continuous personal and professional growth.
