  • About Us

Africa Volunteer Corps (AVC) is a volunteer service fellowship to create African development leaders by training and placing promising future leaders to work for one year at local development projects. AVC unites passionate, qualified and culturally fluent African volunteers with African NGOs to strengthen local development initiatives and allow fellows to hone practical skills, build mutually beneficial networks and play a vital role in shaping Africa’s future. By working for a full year on locally initiated development projects, promising leaders gain the exposure and experience necessary to envision a positive future for Africa and the skills to make that future a reality.
