  • About Us

SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve stewards critical habitat, increases access to green spaces, and provides inclusive environmental education to cultivate a land use ethic throughout the Puget Sound Region. To date, the Nature Preserve has saved over 100 acres of land, consisting of seven different habitats –including a 5,000 year old peat moss bog – by placing them under permanent protection. We believe that conservation is a community-wide effort, and invite you to come walk, learn, play, and explore!
