Nonprofit (Brooklyn): Mosa Mack Animations

Mosa Mack Animations is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls in science through problem-based animations.

Our mission is to create a user-friendly educational tool that engages urban youth, especially females, at an early age so that critical thinking becomes a familiar process. Despite a large gender gap in science in the upper grades, there are few free resources to fully engage females in elementary and middle school, a time when it is critical to instill confidence and interest. Mosa Mack Animations encourages students to reach beyond their comfort zones and explore in the field of science.
