Description

We are committed to contributing to a world free of violence where everyone's needs are met peacefully by living and teaching the process of Nonviolent Communication (NVC).

NVC is a communication process that strengthens our ability to inspire compassion from others and respond compassionately to others and to ourselves, even in the toughest circumstances. It has been used in situations of conflict ranging from personal relations to war-torn countries and tribes, police departments, urban gangs, schools, prisons, health-care, families, business, military personnel, and government agencies. In Victoria, BC, for example, the staff of the Ministry of Justice has recently been trained in NVC. In Israel, NVC is now a recognized and recommended program by the Ministry of Education, and in Serbia UNICEF has sponsored NVC trainings which have reached thirteen thousand school-children.
