  • About Us

    MISSION STATEMENT

To transform the lives of inner city DC youth, providing them with close mentoring experiences that lead to positive growth. Through the engagement in these mentoring relationships, participation in a caring community, and support towards skill mastery, we foster more positive self concepts which in turn lead to more positive life choices and protection against more negative health outcomes. Currently, we have two active programs: Teens Run DC (www.teensrundc.org) and Through My Eyes: The DC Photo-Narrative Project (www.throughmyeyesdc.org).

Over the next year, we hope to establish a pro bono counseling linkage service for youth and families who could not otherwise afford such services (www.dccounselingconnection.org).
