Junior Achievement’s mission is
to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. JA is the
world’s largest organization dedicated to educating young people on financial
literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship through programs taught by
trained volunteers in schools, after-school sites and corporate or community
partners throughout the world.
Junior Achievement of Northern New England is
strategically focused on making the biggest impact possible by partnering with
school districts, cities and towns to serve students throughout their
Kindergarten to 12th grade education. For the 2015-2016 school year,
JAofNNE reached 23,802 youth through the efforts of 1,516 trained volunteers
throughout Central and Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Working at JAofNNE means working with passionate, hard-working colleagues who consistently find ways to move our mission forward and have fun in the process! Our volunteers range from small-business employees and entrepreneurs to C-suite executives from some of the most well-known companies in the Greater Boston area. All staff at JAofNNE have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of stakeholders, which is difficult to find at other similar non-profits.
