About us

Silent Spring Institute, a non-profit research organization located in Newton, MA, is dedicated to identifying--and changing--the links between the environment and women's health, especially breast cancer.1

We are a multi-disciplinary team with expertise in epidemiology, toxicology, chemistry, GIS, and communications. Annual budget of approximately $1.8 million supports a staff of 13, collaborating with investigators at Harvard, UC Berkeley, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Centers for Disease Control.

We seek applicants with outstanding academic skills and interests in environmental health science.
