Chicago, IL, US
The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Chicago (YNPN Chicago) provides support and resources for young professionals working in the Chicago-area nonprofit community.
Through professional development, networking, and outreach activities, the organization seeks broader awareness and support for young nonprofit leaders.
Our main activities are currently:
- Professional development events - Networking events - Newsletter - Discussion Center - Career Center
Why is YNPN Chicago needed?
There are not enough opportunities for young nonprofit professionals in Chicago to interact, share best practices, or receive sufficient social and professional support. As a result, nonprofit workers become burnt out, and nonprofits lose gifted future leaders. YNPN Chicago was established to fill that void. Through trainings, meetings, and social gatherings, young professionals will be given a chance to make connections with each other, discuss issues that impact them, and help create a stronger Chicago nonprofit community.
