ExpandED Schools is a national nonprofit
dedicated to closing the learning gap by increasing access to enriched
education experiences. In school, after school and during the summer – whether
through literacy initiatives, the arts, physical fitness or hands-on STEM
experiences – we seek to ensure that all kids have opportunities to discover
their talents and develop their full potential. In 1998, we were founded as The
After-School Corporation (TASC) and set out to create the nation’s first
citywide system of K-12 after-school programs. Today – 17 years and more than
800,000 kids later – we are forging new ground in reimagining learning time.
