Transportation Alternatives is a member-supported advocate for better walking, bicycling, and mass transit in the NYC area. T.A. works with neighborhood groups and government to make city streets safer, calmer, and more friendly. We rely on hundreds of volunteer cyclists, photographers, petitioners, attorneys, filmmakers, writers, tech-experts and concerned citizens to wage successful campaigns.
