Last modified: February 13, 2012, 10:28 PM

Description

The Grantsmanship Center trains nonprofit organizations and government agencies to improve the quality of their program planning and grant proposal writing. The Center's training programs, hosted by more than 100 public and private agencies yearly, are conducted nationwide and abroad. Since 1972, the Center has prepared more than 110,000 leaders in effective grantsmanship.

Current publications include, "Program Planning and Proposal Writing," the most widely read publication in nonprofit history; and {Centered}, a new monthly e-newsletter for grantseekers, grant proposal writers, and others involved in program planning and fund development. The Grantsmanship Center Magazine, now defunct, was distributed free of charge to staff of more than 200,000 nonprofit and government agencies around the world.

The Grantsmanship Center's web site, tgci.com, is a leading free resource for grant seekers on the Internet. Alumni Members of the Grantsmanship Training Program, gain additional access to extensive federal, foundation, and corporate funding databases, their alumni peer network, discounts on training and publications, ongoing support, and a professional proposal review.
