The Land Conservancy of New Jersey is a nonprofit land trust organization founded in 1981 to protect open space in northern New Jersey. The Conservancy has helped to preserve over 17,000 acres of open space. We currently assist 32 municipalities in six counties preserve and protect land for recreation, conservation, and agriculture. The Conservancy's headquarters is located in a beautiful park in Montville, N.J. and has a staff of fifteen.
