Since its founding in 1973, the Jewish Council for the Aging has a single and enduring mission: to help older people remain in the homes of their choice and in life's mainstream as long and as independently as possible. JCA develops and runs programs throughout the Greater Washington, D.C. area that ensure dignity, self-determination and independent lifestyles for seniors of all faiths, ethnicities and income levels.
JCA helps seniors thrive through comprehensive information services, essential employment assistance, safe transportation alternatives, compassionate adult day programs and so much more including programs that build bridges across generations. We welcome your involvement as a participant, volunteer, donor or community partner!
