Description

Metropolitan Montessori School is a well-regarded pre-K through sixth grade Montessori independent school on the Upper West Side of Manhattan serving roughly 200 students. Our programs stress rigorous academic and learning skills development as well as seek to guide the social and emotional growth of our children into compassionate, connected, and contributing citizens of the world. Our graduates move on to all of the exceptional independent private and competitive public schools of Manhattan. A component of our program is membership in the Black Rock Forest Science Consortium which entitles us to unlimited use of a 4000 acre forest preserve in Cornwall,NY.
