The Colorado Wellness Center for Girls is a pending non-profit wellness organization that is dedicated to the needs of adolescent girls that are exposed to or are at risk of becoming exposed to the juvenile justice system. The foundation is a day treatment center that provides individual services to girls who are referred from either law enforcement, juvenile probation, the Department of Youth Services, as a step down from residential treatment or are identified through schools or local community social service agencies.
The facility operates on a "naturalist" approach meaning the neurological, biological and psychological conditions of young women will all be taken into consideration when arriving at the best treatment plan for each girl.
