Description

It is Green Chimney's mission to provide innovative and caring services for children, families and animals. The agency serves as a leader in the development of specialized programs that foster individual competencies and self-reliance. Founded in 1947, we are regarded as a pioneer in the field of animal assisted therapy. Our Brewster,NY campus, located on 160 acres, is home to more than 380 animals and a wildlife rehabilitation center, integrated beautifully along side a special education school and living units. Our agency is multi-faceted and serves at risk youth, developmentally & physically challenged persons, as well as the general community at large and local school districts who visit our farm. Our New York City Programs have specialized programs for gay, lesbian, transgendered & questioning youth.
