Description

Mission: To make America's students and communities agents of change regarding health and wellness of their homes, schools and communities. HealthCorps®, a national proactive health movement founded and chaired by Dr. Mehmet Oz, includes an in-school educational and mentoring program in 67 high schools in 15 states. HealthCorps empowers students to become educated consumers and health activists who take their message to underserved communities with upbeat events and initiatives. A 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization, HealthCorps has expanded its advocacy arm and is working with local and federal legislators to help the country reach the tipping point towards wellness now and for the future of our children.
