The Trevor Project is determined to end suicide among LGBTQ youth by providing life-saving and life-affirming resources including our nationwide, 24/7 crisis intervention lifeline, digital community and advocacy/educational programs that create a safe, supportive and positive environment for everyone.
The organization operates The Trevor Lifeline (866/4-U-TREVOR), the only nationwide, around-the-clock suicide prevention helpline for gay and questioning youth. In addition to the lifeline, http://www.TheTrevorProject.org has important information on identifying suicidal signs, how to assist someone with suicidal tendencies and also houses "Dear Trevor" a confidential, Q&A resource where youth can ask non-time sensitive questions about the myriad of issues surrounding sexual orientation and identity.
