About us

Founded in 2001, the Massachusetts Charter Public School Association (MCPSA) has an extensive history of supporting and advocating for charter schools across the state and is currently in a period of exciting organizational growth. The mission of MCPSA is to serve, support, and advocate for Massachusetts charter public schools as they strive to achieve the goals of their charters. Charter schools have been an important part of education reform in Boston and across Massachusetts, offering choice and new opportunities for children, especially in low‐income and urban areas, and have prompted reforms in public school districts.
