Description

The Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC) is an activist organization with over 33 years of experience providing free and confidential rape crisis services. BARCC's mission is twofold: to provide rape survivors, their families and friends, with direct services that enable them to regain control of their lives, and to provide outreach and educational programs aimed at changing social norms to end rape and sexual violence. All of BARCC's programs (bilingual individual and group counseling, bilingual advocacy, medical advocacy, twenty-four hour hotline, public education and legal advocacy) are designed to fulfill that mission.
