The Democratic Lab' initiated in 2011 the Secret Police Project.
At first, the project was related to the democratic transition in Tunisia and especially the necessary legal framework for intelligence services in a democratic Tunisia (organisational chart, procedures to set up files, access to some informations/files, control of the services...).
However, Tunisian revolution is a laboratory. The debates and analysis concerning Tunisia are also interesting for other countries, even old democratic countries, because the relationship between democracy and secret services is universal.

We would like to enrich the blog with ressources and material related to secret police legal issue in other countries.
