JUST ANNOUNCED:
Apply to any of our 2013 tours before May 24th through The Cliff Pilkey Changemaker Bursary and your project contribution could be reduced by 80%!
The Otesha Project is recruiting for our 2013 Sustainability & Social Justice Cycling Tours.
We are looking for curious, dedicated, and adventuresome people interested in deepening their knowledge of environmental and social issues, gaining skills in public engagement and youth empowerment, experimenting with pedal-powered transport, and having a blast with their mind-expanding, community weaving, spandex-clad team of inspiring individuals.
Training in bicycle maintenance and repair, touring, facilitation and presenting skills, community living and decision-making models (and much more!) is provided. No previous cycling tour experience necessary – just a willingness to give it a go!
2013 Tours Include:
| Nation to Nation Tour - ON - Jul 27 - Aug 14 | Indigenous justice |
| Pedal to Plate Tour - ON - Aug 10-18 | Food systems |
| West Coast Tour - BC - Sept 7 - Oct 28 | Theatre for social change |
With the Cliff Pilkey Changemaker Bursary, tour costs are just $470 for two month tours and $195 for the shortest tour!
