MHSI currently engages in providing support and services to orphanages and educational centers in Uganda. The focus of our work there is to aid local community based organizations and projects in acquiring and developing the resources they need in order to strengthen their sustainability and improve the quality of services and support they can provide to their beneficiaries.
Hope Children's Center
One of our local partner organizations in Uganda is Hope Children's Center. It was established in 1994 by the local community in order to help alleviate the burdens faced by the growing number of children orphaned after the death of their parents due to HIV/AIDS. Orphans are usually left destitute with no home or prospects for education and development.
Hope Children's Center also welcomes interested volunteers from around the world. If you can find time to visit and contribute to Hope Children's Center as a volunteer you will not be disappointed, a very warm welcome awaits you for an experience you will never forget.
